Antonia Lofaso
The culinary offerings of chef Antonia invites you to discover the inner depths. Food she cooks up comes from her fascination with the cultural aspects in Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Carnitas, Cavatelli and different dishes are all available within a menu. The menu is constantly changing sensibility. But what remains is her distinctive vision of the future while looking back to the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013, and it was popular. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been called among Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurants. Lofaso is described as a neighborhood favorite who consistently delivers dishes that are authentic, tasty and welcoming. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she was not afraid to make bold decisions in order to follow her intuition. As she rose up the ranks, she transformed various Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while working with high-profile stars. Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, the first bar to open within Studio City. The home of Lofaso was located in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso was able to finally experience the creativity she had always wanted. Black Market does not have a single direction, that's the intention. The first course could be chipped potatoes and peppers with some dill. This could be followed by Korean wings and meatballs. Antonia anchors the bold range of flavors. In her long career Lofaso has measured her achievements with her exceptional ability to understand her audience and remain true to her own personality. The Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars demonstrated her capability to communicate her self outside of the culinary environment. In the years since she's continued to pursue her professional career before cameras as a CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge, as well as recurring appearances on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso worked with Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes For Quick Delicious homemade Meals in 2012. The book also talks the story of her struggle when raising Xea and pursuing her studies at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that all her achievements are the result of her love of cooking and she is capable of keeping her finger in the middle of this industry by focusing on her kitchen. With the Chefletics brand, she is changing the look of the industry, by creating clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as practicality. What is important to Lofaso is sticking to the vision you have set. With this goal, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering, which is a more personalised approach to providing clients with an experience that is uniquely personal.
