Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often known as Rihanna by the Barbadians is an artist and singer. Her hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist, who has sold over 41 million albums worldwide as well as more than 150 million tracks. Born in Barbados, she grew up the joy of reggae, and even began singing when she was a young child. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and the constant arguments between her parents, she immersed herself in music, and eventually realized that she wished to become an accomplished singer. She formed a musical group as a teenager and was able to have take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. In order to earn an income as a professional musician, he asked her to relocate into New York. Rihanna dropped her first album and was an overnight star. Rihanna's peppy songs were the top of the charts among teenagers, motivating her into film. Today, she's a teenager idol and the fashion icon. Rihanna uses her celebrity to good use, and is actively involved with several charity causes.
